The new design of this powerfull black stainless steel watch guarantee a readability of the time in every condition at daytime or in total darkness at every time. The font on the dial "DIN Schablonenschrift" is "the" font which is used in the german military sector (german army - Bundeswehr) and show the scope of military use.

Since years ZVB and his Consultingteam has been developed tactical- / military watches with blue H3 tritium illumination. The particularity of the TCS Three-Color-System is the special using of H3 illumination. (Below of this item description you find this system explicitly explained.) In december 2006 mr. W.B and K.-H. S. designed the TCS Three-Color-System and the integration in a military watch with H3 illumination.  The authentic integration you find only in the ZBV military watch "Späher / MilPatrol". Only ZBV guarantees the authentic conversion and advancement of "developed and tested from and to active dutys / professionals special forces".

The first particularity you see on this operation watch is the crown on the "9" o clock position, which is applies for a high quality - authentic military watch. please note: The ZBV " Späher / Mil Patrol" automatic watch is not a mass product and after order it is freshly manufactured. The serialnumber on the bottom ot the watch contain the limited number e.g. 011/500 (No. 11 of 500) as well as the monthly data of the manufacturing e.g. 09/2009. Please in order to get your individuel watch, you have to have to calculate a waiting period from approx. 4 weeks, sometimes it goes faster if we have a small stock and for example not reserved numbers / watches.

Perfect readability at every day- and nighttime is the goal of the ZBV watch, which is designed tested and supported by german special forces.To read the time as fast as possible is the essential point of the ZBV dial. In order to get this, the numbers 3 + 6 + 9 + ZBV Logo are bigger in order to get mental corner points. Further the different style and size of the hour and the minutehand helps to read the time very fast.

In the night our TCS Three-Color-System with H3 illumination guaranteed the best readability of the time. Special is the use of a special thin and long yellow H3 tube in the ZBV logo which you can find in the sword blade. Co-operting with a special long blue H3 tube on 6 o clock you get in the night a half cross which is used similar in sniper scopes, which helps to read the time faster than in normal tritium watches.

The design and especialy the using of special colored H3 tubes with different sizes helps you to read the time in the darkness faster than with other H3 watches. You will see that after some days of using our ZBV watch you can read the time faster than in the beginning. This resulted of mental training and using, for example "red" in a traffic light means "stop", "green" means "go", so you will see colors and the size of the colors helps in reading the time. Operational principle of the colors which are inside the ZBV military watch - Späher / Mil Patrol - Automatic / this system we call TCS / Three Color System.

The coloured operational principle of the ZBV military watch - Späher / Mil Patrol - Automatic originates from the use in instruments from air and sea-navigation:

The zero point of the bezel is provided with a green H3 tritium tube. This H3 tube stands in relationship with the minutehand. This is illustrated in the lower picture, you see that the bezel is adjusted at a 2 o clock position. Therefore the ZBV military watch - Späher / Mil Patrol - Automatic has a green H3 unit on the minutehand.
The indices on 12 o clock is equiped with a special yellow H3 tritiumtube, which has a reference relationship with the hourhand. (a different colour in the 12 o clock position to the other indices is particularly importantly for the arm attitude and the basis for error free reading in the dark) for good intuitive reading we choose a yellow H3 tritium tube on the hour pointer of the ZBV military watch - Späher / Mil Patrol - Automatic.

The remaining hour indices (1-11) are secondary and equiped with blue H3 tritiumtubes.

The second hand is equiped for an exact starting signal with a blue H3 tritiumtube (reference).
